Three days in Calabar for the biggest street carnival in Africa — month-long in December, peaking with the Dec 27 grand parade. Five competing bands (Seagull, Bayside, Passion 4, Freedom, Masta Blasta) battle through 12 km of coast road with elaborate costumes, choreography, floats. We arrange viewing pass at the official tribune (not the crush), and an optional dance-team weekend if you want to march. Plus the Drill Ranch at Afi for primate sanctuary and Tinapa lake for cooling off.
"We joined Seagull as marchers. Three rehearsals, full costume, danced 12 km. Best 8 hours of my life."
"The tribune saved us — 35°C, full shade, the whole spectacle in front of us. Cultural Centre concert had Burna headlining."
Tribune seats sell out by October. We need a 60-day lead. December flights LOS → CBQ also pricey — book early.
Calabar is one of Nigeria's safest cities, especially during carnival when state security is heavy. We use one driver throughout.
Yes — most clients pair our Lagos Detty December with this. Fly LOS → CBQ on Dec 26.
